Story time!
Since my parody of "UHAW" by Dilaw, kinareer ko nang ako din ang sumulat ng ENGLISH SUBS para walang "lost in translation" para sa mga foreigners na gumagawa ng REACTION VIDEOS. Napansin ko rin na minsan, hindi nila mapigilan na isabay ng kanta 'yung English lyrics sa music. Pero s'yempre, it was never intended that way.
So nu'ng sinusulat ko na 'yung English Subs for "Sipilyo", naisip ko, as a challenge and as a creative exercise, gawin ko kayang "singable" 'yung English Subs?
Natuwa naman ako sa resulta kaya habang nagte-test shoot kami for the actual music video ng "Sipilyo", ginawa namin 'tong English Version.
Big thanks to SunKissed Lola for their wonderful contribution sa OPM. I'm loving this renaissance of Manila Sound through these new, very talented artists. Very good source material din for our type of content. The music for this video is again, provided by my multi-awarded arranger/composer, good friend and kumpare, Albert Tamayo with guitars by his very malupit na brother, Jun Tamayo.
